Goolwa Coast Care

About Us

Who are we?

Goolwa Coastcare is a volunteer group caring for the Goolwa coastline and reserves.

We are a group of like minded local people who undertake on-ground actions to care for the spectacular remnant dune system, tea tree swamps, woodlands and coastal heath of the Goolwa area.

We meet for regular working bees approximately twice a month to get out and make a difference by actively managing the area with added support from the Goolwa to Wellington LAP, local council and various government agencies.

Membership has remained steady for the past 4 years. Several young people are involved in the group which works in well with the more experienced senior (not suggesting old) members.
